The talk show veteran will host a free virtual event with WW centered on self-love.
This Valentine’s Day, media titan Oprah Winfrey, in association with WW (formerly Weight Watchers) will host a free virtual event centered on the topic of self-love.
"Open our own hearts to the joy, warmth, wellness, and inspiration we can offer ourselves." - OPRAH
In a statement Winfrey said, “During this time, there is so much focus on the love others bring to us. The path to a stronger, healthier life begins first and foremost with the love we bring ourselves,” she went on to state that this Valentine’s Weekend, we should all “open our own hearts to the joy, warmth, wellness, and inspiration we can offer ourselves in order to activate the life we most desire. Only then can we share that love with the world around us.”
The event will be held on Saturday, February 13 at 11AM (EST). She will be joined by a few celebrity guests, including Jennifer Garner, Ciara and comedian Kym Whitley. The event will also feature an appearance from talk show host James Corden.
It is not the first time Oprah has hosted one of these virtual events with WW. Last year, she partnered with them to launch a quarterly series of virtual interactive events aimed at improving wellness during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. This 90-minute Zoom experience, will feature a pre-show hosted by WW coaches for an half hour before start time. Each virtual participant will also receive a digital workbook to fill out as part of an exercise to clearly identify their wellness goals, including a special WW offer.
